Ball de-committed from Wisconsin and signed with Arizona State.
National Signing Day 2013 had some drama for Wisconsin. Much of that was due to Westerville (Ohio.) South Athlete Marcus Ball.
After committing to the Badgers in November, Ball became a soft verbal to Wisconsin, taking official visits to Arizona State, Michigan, and Tennessee. The three-star athlete narrowed his list of choices down to the Badgers and Sun Devils, announcing his final decision on National Signing Day.
Ball, who remained committed to Wisconsin up until today, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for Arizona State.
Ball held offers from Arizona State, Boston College, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Tennessee and West Virginia among others.
Ball is ranked as the No. 34 ranked athlete by the 247 composite and will begin his career at safety at Arizona State.
