Thanks for cheering for us. I knew Nebraska fans were friendly but I didnt think they publicly cheered for the opposing team. The night before the game all I heard was Go big Red. And its like "hell yeah man, big red all the way. badgers to the rose bowl babby!"

  • LOL! are you serious! Nebraska will get their revenge on Wisky this year. Two loses this year im predicting. Michigan and Ohio State, 45-35 Michigan and 38-21 Ohio State. Oh, 35-31 Nebraska over Wisky

  • I heard his flight back to California was rerouted through Wisconsin and that's why he took a visit there. biggrin In all seriousness, it sounds like he was impressed with your campus and surrounding area. Should be a good battle recruiting this kid. GBR!

  • Based on last year a tie would be a victory for you guys.

LOL! Your predictions are meaningless and we couldn't care less about what you have to say. Your program's glory days are over, but you should enjoy competing for the Outback Bowl.

  • Nice visit. No effusiveness, no real gravitas for the faux-red. JS = Scarlet & Cream. Lock it in.

I give the Badgers a solid 2% chance of getting him. Evan, do any of these QB recruits have any praise for or at least mention Canada?

He's never mentioned Canada to me in the three times I've talked to him. I'm sure they talked today though.

  • Wow, ok. For one, I'm not talking trash on Wisky, they are a good team. Nebraskas' Glory Days will never go away, what has Wisky ever done? You dont have any room to talk there, and we couldn't care less about what you have to say. So why open your mouth? Maybe thats because you are worried I might be right?

Wisconsin has gone to back to back Rose Bowls and Nebraska has faded to the middle of the pack since Osborne retired. The fact that they are called "glory days" illustrates that they are temporary in nature. Nebraska having accomplished little of note over the past decade is evidence that your glory days are in the rear-view mirror. Living in the present is fun if you're a UW fan; not so much for Nebraska.

You didn't come here to engage in discourse, you came here to say that your team is better. I choose to open my mouth because I'm on a UW message board where my opinion has more value than another blue blood troll who shortchanges UW and, lacking any rationale, predicts that his team, which got taken behind the woodshed last season, will beat the Badgers. I, like most other non-Nebraska fans, haven't even entertained the thought of Nebraska competing for the Big 10 title this year. You were expected to enter into the Big 10 with a bang last season, which didn't happen, and you have the same sh*tty, braindead quarterback and a defense that has lost its most experienced/proven/talented players.

The first sentance of your post debunks itself... see winningest programs...... Is this Wiskys glory days? If so, Yawn...

The Badgers have a better record than Nebraska since Osborne's retirement (129-51 vs. 124-57) with our program trending upward. Our program hasn't had its glory days (something programs aren't guaranteed to ever have), whereas yours has peaked and is probably destined for a descent into mediocrity.

Basically the same record.. sorry.. during our down time and your glory days we are equals... Not sure you can ever claim anything other than mediocrity... something we here in Nebraska can do....

We can claim to have caught Nebraska and we're kicking Navy's ass during their down time.

Hyperbole. Something that you call a "down time" today can be viewed as normal a few years from now. I don't think the best is yet to come for Nebraska.
