Are there any recruits that are wavering due to our recent performance? I know we played Nebraska tough and Oregon State is turning out to be a pretty decent team (top 15 team on the road is not a bad loss), but I have to look at it and have some initial doubts. I'm particularly worried about Collins with Florida State as they are tearing it up right now and we don't have the best image at the media. I think the season can still be salvaged and we can still even make the B1G game, but won't be doing too much in bowl season. It will be hard for us to get ranked again, but a win against Michigan State and Ohio State at home would be absolutely huge. Given the lack of adjustments in the second half, I have doubts. I would love for Kyle or someone with a little more football knowledge to chime in with exactly what went wrong/things we can change. I've also heard rumblings that Canada was pretty happy we kept it as close as we did and wasn't coming in with a winning attitude. If so, that would explain the play calling in the second half. We can't run it right down the middle every time and expect to do well.
If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting
Let me start out by saying I would've guess that there was no way they were going to fire a coach after 2 games so anything can happen, but with what people are saying about Canada being happy being so close, I can't see. If it happened like people say, I would believe he would be gone also with Hammock taking over play calling. I think BB proved whats best for the team he would do, no matter what it look likes. I can believe that there is some disagreements with BB and Canada, but if Canada being happy happened, at the very least , BB would take over play calling or Hammock taking over .
The only guy I think this start hurt us with was Collins. He was the guy that came to mind right away, maybe Clement as well as Notre Dame is off to a fantastic start. Remembering the 7-6 year, I don't remember us being hurt by recruiting too much after that year. Maybe I'm wrong though. Obviously recruiting has gotten better since that year, but I think it takes more than one "bad" year. Also we have a fantastic start to 2014 and those kids likely aren't going anywhere.
