That was quiet a battle of teams that started off really hot then totally sucked it up conference. U of I was ranked in the top 15 prior at the start of Big Ten play, I think they were as high as 10 at one point.

I believe Illinois at one point got to 8th or 9th. I think the Gophers are still safe, but with the players they have they should have done better this year. The question is will Tubby get one more year, or will Teague cut him loose.
