Does Kelly look better than last year? I thought at times he looked to be almost in the right spot, or just failing to finish. I know he was hurt for a long time prior to last year, so has he looked better this spring? More explosive?

Safe to say Joey Brennan has no chance of ever playing big minutes?

Hopefully Curt Phillips can be our back-up QB this fall.

I really like this Warren Herring move to DT. If he can get to 285 and maintain his quickness, that should be big enough for the Big Ten. Hope he gets in the rotation. We need more speed up the middle as that will force the QB's out of the pocket and allow are DE's to have more sack opportunities.

Personally, it looks like he's thinking too much. It's a confience issue. Seems as though JB needs to relax...throw the pill like he's in the back yard with his buddies. Too much aiming. He definitely has ability, but he needs to find a comfort zone.

Not really. Nothing really stood out today. A lot of the same sets and plays.

It's still early. I'm sure we'll start seeing some new wrinkles as the spring progresses.

Certainly not this year, but does Gordon look like an every down back eventually. I've always thought of him as more of a change of pace guy but it would be nice if he could carry the load.

But why didn't they hold him out with David Williams watching? A freshman with those skills could scare away a recruit at the same position. LOL
