    Glad to hear that Bo has been out to see him this season. If UW is going to land Kyle or Semi Ojeleye or some the highly regarded 2014 kids, Bo is going to need to be involved.

    Evan, any thoughts on if or when Ekegeze might get a UW offer? I really like what I have read about him and especially like that he plays with the Illinois Wolves. Sounds like Illinois has really taken a liking to him, but they are involved with so many other 2014 guys, I don't think he'll get an Illini offer for some time, which might give the Badgers a chance to get a leg up.

    Let me see what I can get from his AAU coach Mike Mullins. It feels like he'll get an offer at some point just because of all the interest he's receiving so early compared to a Luke Fischer or Matt Thomas who didn't/haven't received offers.

  • Iowa has offered Pickerington (Ohio.) Central 2013 OLB/DE Taco Charlton. Badgers probably have his recruitment on hold right now due to all the coaching changes. UW seemed pretty interested when I last spoke with him.

  • This situation just keeps getting more and more strange. I really hope to get some positive news soon. I can't believe a new staff hasn't been named yet. I would hope to hear something tomorrow.

  • You'd think Wisconsin would be scrambling with their top targets and kind of easing them into the situation right now, not ignoring them and leaving them in the dark.

  • Evan knows better, but I believe their was a silent period very recently. That coupled with the overhaul on the offensive side of the ball.

    The silent period ended January 2nd. So Wisconsin has had roughly 13 days to call or visit with recruits.

  • January 13th through January 28th is the final contact period before signing day. So a few crucial days have already come and gone and there has been no word of anything regarding the staff (besides possibly Azzani). That is what makes this so strange.
