Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer forward Nigel Hayes is used to playing for championships, whether it’s at the high school level or on the AAU circuit with the All-Ohio Red program.

Hayes is a good-looking prospect. I got a chance to see him play a couple times in Minneapolis a few weeks ago. I was there to see AAU teammate Tony Farmer, but Hayes was more impressive. Both have long, athletic bodies, but Hayes seemed to do a better job of finishing around the bucket. He could be a nice addition to the frontcount, as he would definitely bring some length and athleticism to the 4-spot.
As an aside, I would guess that Farmer is off the radar, as he was arrested a week or two ago and charged with kidnapping, assault and some other bad things.

How aggressively is UW recruiting him? Ive known about this kid since he was a Frosh, always thought he'd be a great UW fit.
Living in the Toledo area for so long, Ive always wondered why both Bret and Bo didnt spend more time there. Glad to see that both seem to be making an effort in the area. LOTS of talent to be had.
