Does anyone know what happened to Hengel? I thought he looked just great in the spring game last year.

I assume it was some kind of injury? Must have been career-ending

Can't see McNamara playing OL at 6'1". He would have to play center. Guys like AJ Fenton who are RS Juniors do they not bring them back for a 5th year? I think cutting them loose is probably the way to go if they are not major contributors.

Yeah I was really suprised there wasn't more attrition, especially at linebacker. Didn't we take three like three years in a row? Not counting the two walk-ons that fight for time, or start in Armstrong's case.

I'm sure many of these fourth year juniors who won't see the field will just move along though, like you say. Briedis is gone if you didn't see, too.

And yes, having Mac on the OL would really, really kill our average line height. If I remember right though, I think I was more impressed with his OL tape when he was in HS than his DL (not that it matters at all). And who knows what happens with a new OL coach, he might see something in him that Bostad did not.

The two I was most interested to see were Hayes and Adeyanju. Both up to 250, up 15-20 pounds each.

I second that...not really anyone, more like which LB or WR out of those large groups is showing ability.

Beau is in my marketing class I overheard him talking about mono. Don't think he's cleared yet. I know he wasn't for winter workouts.
