I believe Jordan Diamond visited Ole Miss earlier this year... I wonder how much he connected with Markuson.

If this rumor is true it's a pretty strong hire. Did some wonders with Darren McFadden, Peyton Hillis, and Felix Jones at Arkansas (although he was obviously blessed with a bit of talent there), and he did pretty well with Michael Oher at LT and Dexter McCluster at Ole Miss. I think a lot of Badger fans would be pretty happy with this

Does this hire put OT Jake Meador in play for us? I believe he was committed to Ole Miss before their regime change/switch to spread offense.

We obviously just made a statement that we're going to pay more for the OL coach at Wisconsin. A good recruiter/coach from the SEC doesn't come cheep.
