Had a nice practice on Thursday. Best I've ever seen him play.

Talked to him Thursday. He's definitely impressive physically.

I think the guys who redshirted last year are raising the bar.

Didnt some offensive coordinators get upset with the defense blitzing often in the game last year? They showing anything different this year as a scheme?

Just another note. Floyd and Wright are already better tacklers then Cro.

I've watched the game twice now. I have come to 2 conclusions in my mind (ie meaningless). First, one or two of the young WR will step up and be decent next year. Second, it will not be Mason. Mason looks the part, but he has to catch the ball.

I'd be ecstatic if he takes all this learning he has done this spring and transforms in the next 3 months. He is what he is, a project. Hopefully it "clicks" at some point and he gets to use that body of his.

I like Hammond, and he certainly doesn't lack for confidence if his post game interview was any indication.

Also, did anyone notice DT Gilbert out of Brook Central? Huge squat body and seemed hard to move from what little I watched of him.

I just finished watching the BTN broadcast of the Wisconsin spring game...

1.) There is a lot of talk about Bart Houston, but personally, I think the quarterback of the future is already on the roster...Joel Stave.

2.) Terrance Floyd might be the most physical corner we've seen here in awhile. He's going to be a player.

3.) For whatever reason, the players looked bigger and stronger than past years (on television). Seems like BB has done a great job of recruiting athletes with size.

4.) As mention, Chase Hammond looked outstanding.

5.) Not sure if anyone else noticed, but Sherard Cadogan made a number of nice blocks. He was physical at the point of attack. However, he did drop a pass on the goal line.

Regardless of what cadogan did in the spring game I am still worried about this gamble. I think Ewing could be our biggest loss.
