It is certainly an interesting possibility. I know he wanted to climb the ladder in the NFL, but maybe he's just not cut out for that. You'd think he would have a OC job in the big leagues by now if he was.

His NFL stock was high a few years back but dipped a lot. Had a bad year in Minnesota two years ago, and hasnt exactly killed it in Seattle. And like was getting at, Tom Cable is a favorite of Pete Carroll and wouldn't be surprised to see them make changes anyway... I'm not saying there is anything there, but based on what those involved are saying, it's not impossible.

some prefer the college game and the college town. more respect from players and generally more job security. one bad season in the NFL and you could be gone. The OC job at Wisconsin would be a faster way to a HC job in College IMO. that is unless he gets a QB in Seattle. That said I don't think he is a realistic candidate at this point.
