Actually watched WKU play once this year def a power running team. I assume him and Azz have worked together intriguing to say the least gonna start doing some reading on him now
Taggart has done a good job at WKU, but I almost feel like he would be the low cost alternative. That being said, I think he will be extremely successful and I like how he is a power RB guy and work with Coach Azz, which would certainly mean he would be retained. Granted, the article didn't seam to indicate interest from Taggart for UW, so I wonder if it was a quick call to check interest or a full-fledged interview.
I think "low cost alternative" is key.
Maybe the Koch brothers can donate some money to the UW so we can a good coach....LOL
He has done an amazing job at WKU.
Science H. Logic
I don't buy the story one bit....if so than that means Barry new well before yesterday about Bret leaving and had lined up the interview. Also Barry is out of state at a banquet so it seems like a lot of "smoke."
A lot of rumors Barry knew Stubbed toe was Atleast considering leaving.
He might be a good coach, but I am looking at recruits. Do the recruits know him and would they stick with UW? Recruits want a big name coach, for a big time school.
With all the realignment, the Big 10 isn't going anywhere. If you are out of the loop and can get in the loop, its a good thing so yes, a job in the Big 10 is good, and when its UW and on the upper half, its even better.
