With the addition of Sojourn Shelton, who is your favorite commit of 2013 (thus far)....?
Who do you like the most?
Who do you think will be a star?
Who was the biggest get?
...(for the sake of discussion)
Personally, I think Garret Dooley will end up being an All-Big Ten player. He's the next Chris Borland-type linebacker at Wisconsin.
Feel free to call me crazy...
Darious Latham, our OL needs to regain its reputation and he can help in that regard.
Alec James..he sounds like he willbe a beast on the D-line
+1 for Dooley, love to see kids FLY to the ball.
In terms of right now favorite is Latham just becuase it is so atypical for us.
When the career is in full swing I think it is James. IMO he will provide more value than his ranking and will be the best of the bunch. Dooley is a sleeper for this as well.
Who do I like most? I love Sojourn's confidence. I think he will be a good leader.
Star? Tie....Dooley and James. Both will be tremendous players. Loved Dooleys film.
Biggest get? Latham. Highest ranked kid from good high school program.
Who do you like the most? Chikwe- Seems like he has been hard on the recruiting trail for us.
Who do you think will be a star? Jackson Keeler - I think this kid will be a mauler.
Who was the biggest get? Latham
The previous posts seem to sum it up. There is a lot to like in this class.
Biggest get: Latham- I would place him here because he can play either DL or OL. I wouldnt be completely suprised to see him end up on the OL.
Best value: Dooley, Keeler, and Ramesh- Dooley looks like he had potential to be great. Keeler looks just as good as the 4-star guys we lost out on. Ramesh, I wouldnt be suprised to see him become a great FB, something that has proven undervalued this year.
GEEZ, I could go on forever....
If Brookins can come back 100%, he could be the CB we have been missing for a long time.
Obasih and James are obviously very exciting.
Favorite commit might be Matt Miller. I like where he's at in terms of recruiting everyone. It seems like the leadership on this team is very good and shapes up to be a very cohesive group.
I like Alec James the most and I think he will be a star and was the biggest get. We were recruiting him against some fairly tough competition and I bet is going to blow up with the upcoming all star games. It seems like we've gone out and grabbed a number of high character kids. Unfortunately, not very excited about Raridon like I'm not excited about the DT we grabbed last year from PA. Just don't seem to be big difference makers that we need. Thankfully, we've got some insurance to cover them and they can roll back into rotation guys as opposed to the "main men" which is an improvement. I think the recruitment of these low three-two stars has started to show in the talent of our D-Line. By being able to get guys who appear to be the real deal, we can start moving forward.
If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting
Collins, crap I wasn't supposed to leak that.
Cameron Walker if he commits.
What are your answers Kyle?
Latham on D-Line
I like wheelwright the most. After Abby leaves, I think he has the frame to be a stud WR.
Star would be James. I've watched him a few times and the kid is a player. I expect him to make a huge impact off the edge.
For now ill say the biggest get is James also. Had offers from some really good programs. If ball commits, I'll say he is the biggest get. We need athletes like him. Not sure where he'll play but just having his athleticism on the field would be great.
I think this shows that with all these different answers, its a very good class. I had 1 answer but after reading everybody answers, i must've change 5 or 6 times. It just seemed not so long ago, people were wondering if BB lost his touch, and the class should've been better after going to RB 2 years in a row. I don't hear to many of those complaining any more.
I love Garrett Dooley on film. I think he will be a star.
The biggest get: Alec James. With Obasih on board and Natter committed to Nebraska we needed James.
The sleeper and the best player four years from now... Hayden Biegel.
Watch some of the clips from his senior season (#80 and #70). They moved him to TE midway through the year. He's going to be a STUD after a RS year.
Like most: Latham because of star power.
Star: ramesh because of special teams play and fullback.
Biggest get: tie. Latham because he is from an area we don't recruit well at all and S.S. because as of now he is the only Florida verbal for the class.
Obligated to be a star, is he not?
