Looks like he's deciding this Saturday. You got to think that he's OU bound. Would have been a huge get for UW. But maybe... just maybe... hes deciding Saturday to go to UW before the other recruits can pull the trigger while theyre on their visit in Madison. Highly doubtful but possible :)
I agree, we might be grasping at air, but my first thought was he picked Saturday so he can assure himself a spot before others comit and he misses out.
I like it: sees what he needs to see and makes a call. If we get him, hell yes, but if we don't, the picture is clearer to boot.
Does anybody remember Bennet Okotcha, the kid that verballed UW, then ND and ended up at OU? Didn't make it there and is transfering out of there. I went to OU site to see what they have for people playing and found that out. I think BB made it a point that if he comes here, he could play early amd compared to OU , he has a better chance here to do that.
Anyone remember Ryan Reynolds (not the Hollywood Actor), but the the 5 Star LB from Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas, NV that selected OU over WI in 2004 if memory serves me correct. I think he put on the OU hat during the AA Game. Reynolds career at OU was injury plagued and expectations didn't pan out. I wonder if things would have changed if he'd came to Wisconsin instead? We'll never know!
Hopefully that's the case at home. Evan got any info on it?
That class was weird. I thought the Badgers could land Reynolds and have the ultimate trifecta at LB with Beckum and Hodge. Turned out that Levy and Casillas were the stars in that class and now NFL linebackers. Like Reynolds, Hodge's career was plagued by injury.
Maybe its just me, but I am thinking he is coming here. Just think with the talk with his dad, something just told him, this is the place. Does anybody know if this is when he wanted to announce, or did this just come up?
Matt Shaunassy and O'Brien Schofield (recruited as LB) and Garrett Graham were other stars in that class.
OU has 3 Safety's in there Recruiting class.
Why would he want go to OU?
Yep, I think he caught wind that TQ Coleman and M. Ball could commit this weekend. Its now or never for him.

Nobody, they make a new position for Ball that is half safety half LB.
1/3 safety, 1/3 linebacker, 1/3 quarterback
Bingo, make him one of a kind.
Not that we posters know everything, but if we know with TQ looking to sign along with Ball maybe, that could be the reason why Foreman wants to get in before its to late.
If he is that worried, why not commit on Friday?
I don't know, maybe I am trying to talk myself into it. Maybe that day is special to him. Maybe its a done deal and he wanted to do it Sat. For me, it just seems weird that he ready to make a decision the day that 2 other recruits that play the same position are in town with a good chance of signing.
seems like there may be a little more to this.
By this I mean this story appears to have some legs.
