GA still hasn't called him?
I think this kid is gone. Foreman is a must keep now

He started calling guys Sunday night. I would imagine that yesterday and today interfered with making calls. I almost guarantee that he gets a call on Wed. I would also imagine that Ray either has a message for him.
Why put off calling the 3 guys most in danger of flipping?
It doesn't say he hasn't received a phone call. Meeting him may mean face to face.
Is he possible a guy who could flip? Sure, but I think he will give GA every chance to keep him.
Seems like he would've mentioned talking to GA in an interview where he rattled off 10 other coaches' names.
He does have close friends at Michigan. If he does flip to Michigan at least it is clear why.
But doesn't a brother on UW equal that?
Who said it doesn't?
What a slanted article. The schools aren't equal.
GA called recruits on Dec. 23. It's bad form to call on Xmas Eve and Xmas. I bet he finishes his calls on Dec. 26 and 27. If Ball has the same reaction as Shelton, Obasih, Peavy and Clement... we are golden.

"When I get said, I stop being said and be awesome again. True Story." - Barney Stinson
I hope we are BETTER with Andersen. If we are the same we are going to have a worse record because O$u will get better as urban gets rolling.
I don't know Badger1977. This years class was shaping up to be in the top 25 while next years class was really looking good. If UW can hold this class and replace Singleton with someone as good as him, I will be doing back flips. Recruiting was going up with better players from Fl and out west with Partridge and Buh really making some strides. People have said GA is good at recruiting, and I guess we will see. I do see that this year recruits from Utah he didn't get any top 10 kids, and had 2 of the top 20 . If UW is going to be going against the OSU, I think if GA can keep going the uptick that BB had it going, UW will be right with OSU and for me that means be able to win at home when they play each other.
OSU has the 4th best recruiting class for 2013. Michigan is 7th. PSU is in the top 20 and Nebraska is in the top 25. All are rated above UW. 2014 is yet to be determined.
As we've seen in the past, recruiting rankings don't always mean a whole heck of a lot. If GA comes in, does his job, and has his 24th or 29th or 40th ranked recruiting classes ready to play, they can play with and beat anyone in the Big 10.
His key at USU was finding undiscovered talent and developing. Similar to years past at UW. Now instead of 1 and 2 stars he had at USU, he'll have 2, 3, and occasional 4's to work with.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I really like the direction the program is headed.
Now, to get back on the thread topic. I think Ball ends up at UW with his brother, and paired with Foreman, they become one heck of a safety duo.
You are speaking about player development and the proven coaches that could develop players are gone. The new coaching staff will have to prove themselves. Ohio Stat is landing All-State POY at places like Florida, TN, North Carolina, etc. Those types of players are usually able to come in from day and and contribute in some ways. Our recruits are usually in the need of a year to develop physically.
I agree with you. I am talking about player development. I am also talking about the fact that if the talent development is still there with this new regime (obviously yet to be seen), UW does not need All State POY's from FL, TX, OH, to compete and win in the Big Ten.
