I get that Jones to UW was always a long shot and I'm glad we can move on now. But for some reason it really chaps my ass that MSU made his top four over UW. I can't stand them getting over on us in any way shape or form. I get OSU, ND, and Mich.
This is not a knock so don't anyone get all fired up, but I could see this tactic being used not only on OL recruits, but almost all recruits. Using the " new HC with no big time experience, lots of new coaches with no big time experience" card.
If he doesn't want to go to the NFL, let him go to one of those other schools. We'll find someone that wants to be the next Joe Thomas.
Steve Hutchinson was pretty good. Orlando Pace. Every large school has had some greats. So far our OOS recruiting looks more Utah State than BIG

every school can have 1 good player. No school has as many top 3 round draft picks than Wisconsin in the last 15 years. If you narrow it down by the Big Ten, its not even close. You have a better chance of going to the NFL even as a underrecruited lineman, than being a blue chip guy at the other schools. They just don't have the same secret technique we have.
