Hey all. Some buddies and I are making the trip to Madison for the game on October 27. I was hoping that some of you could help with suggestions of where to go for pregame festivities. Is the tailgating scene good or are we better of going to the Bar? Which lot or bar would be best for us to go to? Any rules at tailgate?(ex. No glass, don't make striking obvious ect.) Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well! TIA
Go Tailgating down at State Street its so Awesome!
Could that game be a part of the B1G tailgate 48? If it is that might change your plans.
Stadium bar is always fun. Just walk up around the front of the stadium. It'll be packed down the streets of Regent and Monroe
Regent St. from Washington all the way to Camp Randall are bars with in and outside libation opportunities and tailgating if your parking along this route to. I hope you figured out the comment about tailgating on State St. was a joke, traffic not permited on State St. however there are lots of bars, not that close to the stadium however, better after the game. You won't have a hard time finding a place for a good time and drink or two.
Regent street hands down is the place to go.
Don't tailgate... Stadium Bar before. It's the place to be. State St or Capital Square after depending on your scene.
To be completely honest, different groups are going to be at different places. (By groups I mean like student versus non-student, age range, etc.)
Gonna endorse the latter
All of us are in our late 20's/early 30's. Spartan fans with one Badger fan. (If that makes a difference).
If you prefer classier establishments, then go capital. If you're trying to party, State St.
What time should we show up to the Stadium Bar for a 3:30 kickoff? Anyone have a recommendation of "the place" for breakfast in Madison? Thanks everyone for your help. Really appreciate it!

Mickey's Dairy Bar for breakfast. No where else compares, and it's close to Stadium Bar and Camp Randall... And I'd error on getting to both earlier rather than later.
No problem getting there early. How early are we talking for the Stadium Bar though? 9? 11?
Sorry I'd help you out, but not sure of the best time. I'd imagine 2-3 hours early would be ok though.
If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting
I'd want to be there between 11-12, not just to get in quick, but have adequate time there.
Prepare to wait at Mickeys on gameday morning.
