Hard not to like the tape. Moves surprisingly well and can throw on the run. Don't think there's much talent around him either.
I just watched Chances film and I JIZZED IN MY PANTS!
If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting
Yea, hes got it all. Size, Arm Strength, accuracy and mobility within the pocket. Seems like a top 100 guy.
Only thing I really noticed was that something was off in his delivery. I have never coached football, so those who have, please correct me. But there seems to be an issue with his footwork when he drops back. He kind of taps his feet, or takes short strides, at the end of his drop back. Seems awkard and seems like it could cause some hesitation in his passes. The throwing motion seemed a little awkard too, but with great results. It could just be the footwork that made it appear awkard. Maybe takes relatively short strides on his 3 step drop back.
There is a ton of stuff to love about this video. Things you just can't teach. But my guess is his biggest area of improvement is going to be footwork. They emphasize teaching that even in the NFL combine though.
That was impressive. It wasn't just wide open guys that he is throwing to either. Alot of over the LB and in front of safeties.
Heh. Watching a tall, BCS caliber QB throwing to those little WRs was entertaining.
Hate to go all O$U Buckeye on the board, but there's no way he's only an 89 cumulative star. Even a 93, unless someone who knows how to actually grade quarterbacks as opposed to my "He throws real fast and stuff!" analysis can step in, is too low. Could be I've been a Badger fan this past year and forgot what a good qb looks like.
