Talked to the players, sounds like a lot are unhappy. Montee said he told them he "wanted to win a championship" Hammock and Partridge are listed as co-head coaches. Bielema is off the roster list.
What a POS, can't believe I ever stuck up for him
If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting
If it makes you feel any better, i bet when he gets fired in 3 years, he will admit he made a mistake RichRod 2.0
It's just so stupid. He could have stayed here forever and he'd most likely have a statue out front of the Camp like Barry. He would be a legend in Wisconsin. Instead he leaves to chase the money and will most likely fail at Arkansas. He wanted to go make a name for himself by coaching in the SEC but all he really did was destroy his legacy in Wisconsin. I can almost guarantee you in 20 years he deeply regrets his decision.
In 20 years???? Might be a lot sooner than that.
Ball tweeted, "Danny o brien just messaged me this.. 'let's do this'... it shall be done then my man. #wiscONsin."
Maybe his wife really pushed for him to get a fresh start. All the criticism is usually tougher on the loved ones. But the reality is he will face more criticism at Arkansas.
I am not happy what Bret did, but something doesn't seem right here. Maybe something behind the scene happened that we don't know about.
This was his wife's first winter. Love to hear the whole story on this.
Wouldn't worry, program is on a very solid foundation. Will be competing for championships for years to come regardless of who the next coach is.
I agree with this statement.

Appreciate the kind words Hail. I am just relieved Barry is still the A.D. If he wasn't I would be much more worried. I feel he will make a good hire and the program will continue to do very well.
Alvarez will coach the bowl game, right?
No he'll be in Arkansas tonight or tomorrow and that's it. Not coming back.

Think you misread...I HOPE you misread...
"We don't care about anything but winning. No one cares about ethical standards thats for losers..."
I'm so confused
To help clear it up. Bret will not be coaching in the rose bowl. He should be in Arkansas tonight and will be introduced tomorrow at 3:00. Barry is taking over duties of the football team for the time being. Coaching the rose bowl has not been determined as of tonight.
Sorry Bret, not Alvarez. Read it wrong
I agree BB will regret this decision. If he was leaving for Alabama or Lsu it would make sense. Those two will be very difficult to beat .
i refuse to accept him or his wife are this stupid. If they are, we'll see a leg pissing equivalent to that of Taylor Martinez' in the 2012 BT championship
He realizes he took the job at ARKANSAS and not Florida right? He won't win squat there and had a better chance in Wisconsin. That said, Alverez is a class act and will hopefully hire a class act for you guys. Even though Alverez always seemed to have the Buckeyes number in Columbus I have great respect for that man.
I am a Buckeye...proof there is a God in Heaven who loves me.
Fat ass plays AT Florida, Alabama and LSU next year... Good luck with that!
As long as Barry is here I'm confident the success will continue.
