Evan and others....
Bart has not been confirmed as staying...as recently as this AM's presser in Pasadena by BA. However he quickly backtracked and said that the coaching staff is not complete.
With the impact that Miller has made with Matt Miller and Jack Keeler, how likely is it that GA WON"T retain him.
It just seems like Bart would be a guy that could/would fill the TE role just fine for a couple of years....especially from a recruiting standpoint.
In addition, the impact on the lineman has been obvious...GA has stated its all about the kids.....thats why I am a bit surprised Bart hasn't been confirmed.
He should be the OLine coach. If he isn't retained in any way then GA fucked up big time. We can't afford to lose Miller
I have no problem with Woods at the OL coach. I just think Miller has earned the TE job....The fact that Woods was a TE coach in the past would help the combo.

No need to rush an article, Evan. Enjoy your time in California while you are there.
I agree...no need to rush the article...just answer my question :)
GA coached with a great TEs coach at Utah state for 4 years that's now at Utah and is a very good recruiter. The WR coach at Utah is even better.
Other people can coach OL. Is it safe to assume that all of Bostad's success was due to Miller, or is everyone fawning over Miller for some other reason? Where was the God Miller when we struggled against the best defense we faced, Michigan St? I'm sure, as usual, it was everyone elses fault and not the OL. Canada, the RB's, the list goes on.
You mean to tell me that the Badgers ran for a ton of yards against Purdue, Indiana and Minnesota? Huh. Surprising.
If the Badgers run for over 200 yards against Stanford, then I will be on board with Miller needing to be kept. But if they run for under 50, I'll stick with my earlier thoughts.
Sully if I remember correctly, Wagner was gone for that game or maybe some other lineman. I wouldn't say other people can coach OL because Markusan proved that wrong. I will say having lineman in sync is so important that don't try and fix things that aren't broke. If they run for under 50, they better throw for over 250 cause they could be in trouble big time if they run for that amount and yes I would think people would also be like you in their thinking.
So, by that logic only 1 person can coach OL and luckily we have that one guy.
Well, our offense could look like it did against Michigan St, when we couldn't run.
I just don't get the love for Miller. I'm guessing all the people that want Miller back want Canada back?
Miller is a 27 year old GA, we can do better. And please don't judge one of BB's rare bad assistant coach hires and then come to the conclusion that only Miller can coach these guys.
IMO, the OL didn't want to buy in to Markuson and they didn't. They openly complained and whined about him. Then the babies got there bottle, with Miler, and then everything was fine? No, they still struggled against MSU. They ran over the poop of the B1G. Purdue, Indiana, Minnesota, Illinois. They had an amazing game against Nebraska in the B1GCG. But was that more Canada than Miller?
