Looks like him and WR Kief are huge priorities for Coach Andersen. Those two would look great commanding the offense. Here is a picture of the recruiting mail for Allen.
Hopefully they take notice and reciprocate the interest. Maybe this will put UW into the group recruiting Allen the hardest.
Elmore as well... Wisconsin is showing the love. Love how hard Andersen recruits.
Looks like somebody had some free time over spring break.
College football coaches would make great stalkers.
I don't like it. Maybe that puts me in the minority, or maybe I just don't get it...But this just seems a little cheap to me. And I know it's how some teams do it (I recall something similar from Ole Miss), but I'd just hope that we could find a million more dignified ways to show a recruit how much we want him to come to Madison. JMHO
Alabama does it to. Its not a big deal. Each player sends a letter recruiting to the university. I dont see whats the big deal. They can recruit them on campus so why not reach out to them through mail? People love it when commits recruit players on twitter. This is no different. Just a letter
If it hadn't somehow become standard practice, it would be batsh*t crazy. I think it's ludicrous and hate it.
agreed, along with some bloggers...........
Wish there was a +100 for this...
much appreciated....I hope to not ruffle anyone's feathers, but I think much of the time we lose sight that these are 16 and 17 yr old kids when they start being recruited.....it's one thing when Evan is contacting them for the info he attains for his stories, on the flip side it's completely icky, yep, I said icky, when you look at the Arkansas crap with Alex Collins.... I read a different story about a Texas recruit and how he was being harassed on twitter and facebook because he was going to visit a different school.....
Collins had a post on that topic when Arkansas fans were after him.. Something like "the thing that fears me the most about choosing a school is losing all my fans". I think it played a factor with him.
I can't imagine all the hate and trash talking these kids get via twitter and fb during the recruiting process.
Haha. What an ego! To care so much about nameless, faceless strangers who really make no positive contribution to his life. Only cares about seeing the number of "fans" climb higher.
