I really like that the Badgers are hitting NJ, Maryland, DC, and Virginia. With Rutgers and Maryland joining the B1G (and with Virginia being an alleged target of the B1G)it's wise to get into these talent-rich areas. The state of Virginia is LOADED this year.
This is kind of a question for Evan - or anyone else who has some insight: Does Beatty have a lot if connections out east? Illinois has actually done fairly well in the DC market the last 3-5 years or so and I was just seeing if Beatty had anything to do with that. I figure if UofI had some luck there that there's no reason to believe that we can't do a little bit better. Champaign is a pretty tough sell.
