Bad Blood?

  • Wow, so I came over here hoping to learn a bit more about the Badger football team and it looks like there's some bad blood between some spartan fans and some badger fans. I hope this is the minority and not a bunch of bitter old men holding grudges.

    I just wanted to come over and wish you guys luck on saturday and hope for nothing less than a great game to watch in E.L. I have a lot of respect for your football team and wish we didn't have to play you because I don't want to cheer against our best shot for a BCS team in the big ten.

    Best of luck and knock em dead the rest of the season ^_^

  • Your KPMBucky poster is certainly a winner. I know we have some on our board too but this kid really has a shovel shoved sideways up his ass.

    Hope we have an entertaing game Saturday. Kind of wonder where you guys would be without RW. Kid is a class act and a huge boost for you guys.

    KPM's one of our top posters. I'll stand by that. I think the trash talking has got the best of everyone. It's coming from both sides...

    As it pertains to the message boards, I think some of the bad blood comes from my actions of banning a number of MSU posters. At the time it was probably the right thing to do, however, I wish it had never come to that.

    Anyway, that's way behind us. I think we're on the right track.

    Time to move on.

    As someone who lurks more than he posts at tRCMB I can say I wouldn't blame you for bans. Sometimes they get a bit rowdy and out of hand.

    Give me a break... I tried showing you guys what you guys sounded like going on the deep end. I realized it was in poor taste to repeat things Sparty does so I edited within 30 seconds. You really need to relax because you are taking the internet too serious.

    To paperwasp, good to see you post over here, you're welcome anytime. Good luck the rest of the year, but I still hope you guys lose this weekend :P

    Haha, well thank you but I think I might avoid it over here between November and March. As a member of the izzone for 5 years I tend to hold grudges a bit harder in basketball than football. ^_^

    I'm fine with moving on. Just to let you know, we're totally fine with smack talk as it pertains to the field, but commenting on a coach's personal health problems is truly in terrible taste. I realize KPM is a very passionate Badger fan, but I think there's enough the 2 schools can go back and forth on without that type of stuff coming up, agree?

    Now, the Gholston thing should be put to bed as well, and I'd like to focus on the game.

    I think MSU still has a chance to win, though it's obviously diminished a bit. I do think the Spartans will circle the wagons, as WG was far from the only defender enjoying a strong year.

    Whenever 2 teams have 2 strong areas clashing, it's usually the other match-up that determines the outcome. In the Cardinals - Steelers Super Bowl, the game was ultimately determined by the performance of the Steeler O vs. the Cardinal D, the "lesser" of the 2 positional match-ups.

    Shifting that to our game, I think MSU's O vs. Bucky's D will be the deciding factor. How's Butrym looking? Your DL has great depth, but I think MSU's overall skill players are probably the best you've seen this year.

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    It's over get over it. I didnt post it over there I was respectful over there and the whole "faking the heart attack" was over exaggaretting by a couple sparty nutjobs.

    And my prediction wasn't too far off. You won 2 games I didnt think you would. Ohio State and Michigan but then again look at all the off the field stuff that occurred since that prediction. Hell I had the Badgers 3rd in the Leaders division. That was after the spring game.

  • Our guy no doubt has his moments, but there had been a stream of asshats since you guys got on 247. It is a shame because there are a few MSU guys that great to talk football with like rocky.

  • Bucky will do fine win or lose; you have zero tools here compared to scUM; a great campus and similar broad education focus as with S - more in common with S than not. This weekend it will be cool to have an outcome with minimal hangover squabbling as is the case with scUM each and every year // You guys were rational and businesslike discussing the Gholston absence; but swatting a guy in the helmet is not the same level as the Illini that was suspended for kneeing a NW player's nuts a few wks ago //

  • Okay, for the record scott only called out ONE dick bag of a poster that came to OUR board claiming MD faked a heart attack and previously started a trolling thread predicting MSU would go 5-7 this year. The "dick bag" poster deserves to be called out so perhaps know wtf you're talking about before running your mouth...

    If I had gone to another board and made those posts, joking or not, I would expect to be called out too...
