If he could do that at the D1 level, it would be refreshing seeing one of our CBs being aggressive in coverage and going after the ball.

Would it be wrong to guess that getting in to USU is easier then UW? That being said, does GA know about what can get in and what can't? It would be a waste if these JUCO that they are chasing, can't get in. That has to be know at a early stage in the recruitment, though I remember some Stanford's kids not being able to get in late in their recruitment so I don't really know when the grades part comes up.

Oak you could be right, but I remember a couple of years back that it was late and the reason was grades. Maybe I have it wrong and it wasn't as late as I thought.

I believe you are correct. IIRC, before Harbaugh was coach, this was the standard procedure, always had to qualify before an offer. Then when Harbaugh became coach they started offering some kids before they qualified. Not many, but a few, maybe one or two.

I dont mind plucking a solid JUCO once in a while, however I dont think we need to get overzealous. WI is family and players grow from FR onward. Got to be choosy bringing in "outsider" and hope they gel with current roster. Lot of underclassmen that need a chance to play. Hope they stick with recruit and development of promising young and solid players. There is a reason many choose to go JUCO route, usually it is grades and jumping into a challenging UW class load may be too much for many of these kids.
