Brust wants Wisconsin to be prepared mentally for a tough Iowa squad.

Wisconsin (13-4, 4-0) looks to overcome some recent struggles they've had with Iowa (12-5, 1-3), who have won two-straight over the Badgers.

Intersting that Bo doesn't even want to acknowledge the Uthoff situation considering its the elephant in the room. Im a little suprised he didn't say something along the lines of "the past is the past so I'm just worried about my players, but I'll wish him luck." Clearly time has not yet healed that wound. Probably because they really thought Uthoff was going to be a good player and the whole transfer situation was sketchy.

The fact that the bitch decided to go whine to the media is rather infuriating. I wish him a ton of ill will.

Look I'm certainly not a fan of Uthoff and how the whole thing went down. It was petty and childish on his part. However, Uthoff is a 19 year old kid and Bo Ryan is a 65 year old man leading a group of kids trying to win basketball games and become men. He's the adult here and should just let it go and be the adult. There's no good in holding onto this. Set a good example for your kids that want to play for you and just get past the situation.

I would still be pissed at him but it wouldn't consume me. we used a scholarship on him that could have went to someone else. He knew we ran the swing and his game fits quiet well. Telling the media his game didn't fit our offense is a total cop out. Going to espn and painting bo as an egomaniac without a heart should just piss you off.

Im actually agreeing with what you're saying. Uthoff went about the situation poorly in nearly every conceivable way. I'm just saying move on. Holding onto the anger accomplishes nothing. If anything it serves as a distraction.

I am with Oak Park. Its done , let it go. I would say it didn't work out, he is gone and the kids that we got we are really excited about. UW maybe doesn't get Hayes if that spot isn't open.

Very true. Hayes was the last player to commit for the 2013 class and we wouldn't have had a spot for him had Uthoff not left. Granted, they may have not taken one of Hill or Dearring in order to keep a spot open for Hayes, but you never know. I think Hayes will be a great player for Bo.

The Uthoff / Ryan thing was a disaster. And, Ryan looked like a dink. Ryan was immature... and the fact that we just had success with Russell Wilson transfering made UW look like weiners. (yes, I said weiners... can i get an up vote or what?!)

Either way, espn blow this way out of proportion and uthoff knew that they would. Also Wilson was not wanted by his coach at ncst.

The players are the ones holding a grudge. they are not saying it but this pissed them off more than ryan.
This was a ESPN witchhunt, I think that was pretty obvious.

Please. . . Utoff is a little b1tch who had to have someone bring a note to the basketball office letting them know he was going to transfer. He couldn't even man up enough to tell the coaches face to face. The badgers are much better off without him. Everyone who knows the story understands the sanctions were put in place in order to force utoff to tell the coaches why he wanted to leave. Bottomline is that he is a weakminded kid who was influenced by others around him him. Good riddance. Don't want him. Perfect player for the hawks.

I can honestly say i forgot about JA until people mentioned him. I guess I am not into name calling. When he left, it was over for me. Anything else it showing you need them more then they need you.
Its like what Iowa is doing with Brust . Its been 2 years, give it up.
