I'm confused....why decline commitment status if committed with the intention to sign on Feb. 6th?

If he is a "soft commit" I understand that. That happens with a handful of commits on every team when a new coach comes in. I would list him in my mind as a soft commit. We will see what transpires from Jan. 4 to Feb. 6.

This class will be fine.

I think some people do that, but at least with Evan and Kyle, they just report what they are told. As long as the recruit says it, their job is to put it out and not be the judge if they mean it or not.
