I know that not all of these situations are the same, but think about the highly regarded kids we've lost the past two years due to at least in some part to the coaching instability we've had. We've lost:

Orndoff
Evans
Denman
Dodson
Singleton
Foreman

I know Singleton is debatable and so is Dodson, but I would still say that Bostad leaving with Chryst didn't help. Also throw in Latham as someone we lost, but that was not due to coaching overhaul. We've lost a lot of good players the past couple of years. Would love these guys on our team. These are the types we need to take that "next step". We're getting very close and at least these types of players are committing to us at one time. With the new staff and hopefully some stability I think we'll get more of these players and hang on to them. Its frustrating what has happened the past couple of years, but I think the future is very very bright!

That's a good point. Look at Alabama, Florida, FSU, Notre Dame, USC. All those programs have multiple decommits/flips every cycle.

There ya go. Don't think they necessarily wanted to push him out. But obviously his skill set as safety isn't what they want to do schematically.

I don't watch much player film, but I'm guessing he's more of an in the box type safety? They want to bring more d-line, linebacker pressure from a variety of looks and need more coverage oriented safeties.

I am surprised this didn't happen sooner.Buh@ UC hurt us . I am concerned about JUCO kids being the answer. Probably not many answers left at this time.
