Jamerson has committed to Wisconsin.
Ocala (Fla.) Vanguard Wide Receiver Natrell Jamerson had a good idea that he'd be a Badger when he left Madison on Sunday after his official visit to Wisconsin. When he arrived home, the three-star prospect wasted little time giving his verbal commitment and becoming part of their 2014 recruiting class.
"I decided to commit to Wisconsin due to the fact that it's great school," he said. "The coaching staff is awesome and feel I will be a big impact on the team. I feel very comfortable at the school and the players made me feel at home. They also have a great academic program."
Jamerson had other offers from Old Dominion, UAB, Middle Tennessee State, Florida International, Jacksonville, and Weber State. He was also receiving late interest from Vanderbilt as well.
Ranked as the nation's 130th best wide receiver by the 247 composite, Jamerson is the third wide receiver to commit to Wisconsin and Assistant Coach Chris Beatty, joining Chris Jones and Krenwick Sanders.
Jamerson is Beatty's fourth commitment overall in the 2014 class. Wisconsin's Wide Receiver coach also helped land Running Back Taiwan Deal.
The Florida native is in the midst of a huge senior season. Jamerson set a single-season school record earlier this year with his 14th touchdown reception. He's also third on Vanguard's single-season list for receiving yardage for with 1,176. Jamerson is just 158 yards shy of breaking the school record.
