Deiter became Wisconsin's eighth commitment in the class of 2014.
Badger247 has learned Genoa (Ohio.) Offensive Tackle Michael Deiter has committed to Wisconsin.
Needing to impress the coaching staff at Sunday's and Monday's camp, the three-star offensive tackle did just that and committed to the Badgers.
"I chose Wisconsin because I'm comfortable with the coaches," Deiter told Badger247. "I like the football and the offensive line tradition. Wisconsin feels like home to me."
Deiter chose Wisconsin over other offers from Georgia Tech, Illinois, Nebraska, and West Virginia among others. The 6-foot-5, 295-pound lineman received an offer from the Badgers during April's spring game, his first BCS offer. Deiter's final three included Illinois and Nebraska.
In 2012, Deiter was named an All-Conference, All-District, and All-State selection. He's Wisconsin's eighth commitment in the class of 2014.
