Wisconsin's need for elite speed has been evident over the past decade. Well the Badgers received a significant upgrade in that department in the form of Serge Trezy, who committed to Wisconsin on Thursday.
"I just felt that's where I needed to be," Trezy told Badger247.
Reporting a 4.29 40-yard dash, Trezy chose Wisconsin over other offers from Arizona, Baylor, Cincinnati, Illinois, Oregon, Utah, and Washington State among others. The three-star athlete also took an official visits to Cincinnati and Utah.
A native of Orlando, Fla., Trezy was recruited by Assistant Coach Bill Busch an wll begin his career at Wisconsin in the defensive backfield. The 247sports Composite Top 100 junior college athlete is Wisconsin's 25th commitment in the class of 2014.
"Coach Busch got real happy," he said.
