With the AAU circuit now in full swing, Bo Ryan and the Wisconsin coaching staff continues to evaluate prospects in the 2012 and 2013 recruiting classes.
On such prospect, Geno Thorpe, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound junior-to-be from Pittsburgh (PA) Shaler Area, currently lists the Badgers as a leader for his services.
As mentioned, Thorpe, a 2013 prospects, will be visiting Madison, Wisconsin on an unofficial visit next month.
"I'll be visiting Wisconsin on June 13-14," said Thorpe via text message. "I like Wisconsin. I think they're one of my favorites as of right now."
Currently, Thorpe holds scholarship offers from Pittsburgh and Rutgers. Along with Wisconsin, the talented point guard is also garnering major interest from Arizona, Louisville, Ohio State and Temple.
Bronson Koenig and Tony Farmer are the only current basketball prospects in the class of 2013 to hold a scholarship offer from Wisconsin.
