Many like Michigan's chances here. I do also, but I feel that a ton hinges on the type of season USCw puts together. I like seeing Wisconsin in running, shows that the kid is willing to play away from home and gives positive news for the B1G.

as a newcome to Wisconsin football, take what i say with less than a grain of salt. But it seems like your coaches are doing what we have really hoped Mack Brown would do a LOT more of down at the Univ of Texas. Forget about state borders. Find the best guys and go for them. We seem to be doing more of it in Austin, and i am thrilled to see your guys doing it here. I may be new to Wisconsin, but i already LOVE Madison. (will be living in Milwaukee and like it a lot too). I think these kids coming to visit can see a whole lot to like at the campus and in Madison itself

the interest in/from west coast guys has nothing to do with the rose bowls. our coaching staff is a west coast staff.

More likely it is somewhere in the middle. I don't think it can be denied that UW playing out west in the Rose Bowl 3 years in a row raised the awareness of the school to recruits from out there. The coaching staff having west coast connestions plays a factor as well, but I don't think its one or the other.

We may or may not land him, but I think the fact a 5 star kid from the West Coast put Wisconsin in his Top 4 right after UW offered says there is no excuse as to why UW can't compete for big time recruits. GA and his staff don't seem to be scared at all in recruiting. They are making Bret and his boys seem almost like they were scared to go big.
