Can Wisconsin re-land Craig Evans?

Nobody said schools are calling him "now." I'm sure the contact is done over facebook.

It says Mike Vrabel was in Sun Prairie to talk to him. How can Vrabel have fact to face contact with him if Wisconsin coaches can't call him?

This and it doesn't help that he is in Minn doing the same thing that the Wisconsin kids are saying its not happening to them.

What a horrible introduction to Wisconsin HS coaches. This has disaster written all over it.

I do wish they were more active with the 2014 commits, but I have faith that once we get past signing day we'll see what this staff can do. There is a ton of time until signing day 2014. With what Evans said in the article I get the feeling he would have decommitted anyways to make sure he made the right decision even if BB didn't bolt. He said he is now going to take his time so there's plenty of time for the new staff to make a positive impression. Not to mention he lives 15 minutes from campus. We still have that advantage and that's not going to change.

Andersen nor any coach can call any junior prospect. Nor could the previous staff. The rules for juniors are the same as they were in August, September, October, November, and December. They can't call the kids directly but they can call their coaches and ask them to have the prospect contact them. It's the same way the previous staff did it and the same way Andersen could do it if he chose. It would take 5 minutes to call the HS coach and he could just do a quick 5-10 minute phone call from the prospect to introduce himself, say they are looking forward to getting to know them, and will be in touch going forward. Heck, many juniors are already getting Junior Day invites at other schools. Again, the only reason Andersen hasn't been in contact with the 2014 kids is because he has chosen not to.
