Must be a pretty good prospect and no doubt will like the Badgers' terrible depth at WR outside of Abby. Immediate playing time for any receiver who's at all ready for college football.

He is a diehard FSU fan...if they offered...why has he not committed? Unless it isn't a commitable offer.

Nothing wrong with extending an offer. They are not wasting their time at the moment trying to bring him to campus when his heart is with FSU.

This is more or less an offer to establish a connection with Wisconsin. You can't get them all, but it brings name recognition to their high school.
That will be important with the new staff and loss of Partridge.

They don't offer if they don't have a shot. He's coming for an official that gives us a shot to shoot up the board, he really doesn't know much about us so great time to learn. I don't know about everybody else but under Bielema i think we were awful at recruiting at the WR position. Under BA all we did was run yet we had Chambers, Evans, etc. that were great playmakers for the offense

Top rated DTs typically bring in over 40 offers. Not all of those schools have a chance.

Why not offer? I'm one of those people that would try to go after the big boys. Sure, you won't win them all, but UW will win some. Personally I think the Badgers sell themselves short in recruiting, and I think they back off of certain guys, especially outside the midwest.
I'm glad our coach doesn't think like that and will go after anybody, wherever on the planet they are from.
BTW, although UW is probably not the fav right now for this kid, the kid does sound interested and is going on an official visit.

Am I mistaken or are we in the top 4 and getting an official visit? He has heard great things from friends as well
Not saying were going to get the kid, but sounds like we got a shot and he may have that big time speed this WR unit really needs
